Dara Berger has just completed directing and producing her first feature length documentary film, "A Secret Best Not Kept". Her passion is clear to anyone who sees the film that she has taken on a subject very close to her heart with the hopes of helping others.

The entertainment business is nothing new to Dara. After graduating from college she began appearing in films, television, and radio commercials. After several years she went back to school to study journalism at NYU with the hopes of breaking into the news business. She gained a thorough knowledge of television production in her following years as an on-air news reporter and producer for WMBC in their satelite office on Long Island. Dara spent countless hours reporting stories on breast cancer, disabled children, domestic violence, and government policies, waiting for the right moment to tell her most personal story: that of being a thirteen-year old girl who loses her mother to suicide.
